We are proud to sponsor Team Tyas - British Para Driving team

Introducing Team Tyas - mum Elizabeth, dad Paul, sisters Lindsey and Alison and not forgeting the team lynch pin - the gorgeous 15year old chestnut welsh section D gelding, London Flash Jack!
We first met the Tyas family when their equine physiotherapist recommended they talk with us about using Thunderbrook feeds. Jack was competing hard and fed on the usual competition mixes, pellets and chaffs. Despite his competition schedule, Jack was starting to develop weight issues, a cresty neck, fat pads and had a weakness to his hindquarters. His competition results were good, but Lindsey felt he lacked stamina and scope to his movement. Jack is currently fed Thunderbrook Base Mix (500g per day), soaked whole germinating oats (weight depending on workload), Thunderbrook Condition & Compete (500g), double handful of dried grass and Gut-Restore. Jack's outline has completely changed. He now sports a very althletic, muscular and svelte body shape, minus the cresty neck and fat pads. His stamina has increased, his competition timings are better and his hindquarters are much stronger. 'We are so pleased with him now' says Elizabeth, 'and we get such lovely comments about his condition at events'.
Jack is owned by Lindsey - her biography is below.
Lindsey is truely an inspiration to all horse owners. We all fall into the same traps - worked all day and can't find the energy to ride, weather is appalling, don't have a schooling area, all sorts of excuses can be found when we don't feel like exercising our horses. Well come along and watch Lindsey compete. The first time I watched Lindsey and Jack in action, I was so in awe, I had goosebumps. She is one dedicated and talented lady and together with Jack, they make an impressive team. Despite severe disabilities, Lindsey trains and competes Jack at the highest levels - both in Para Driving and competing against able-bodied drivers. Lindsey's sister, Alison also drives competitively and Paul their dad is 'anchor man' on the carriage. Mum Elizabeth grooms for the team.
We are very proud to sponsor Team Tyas - providing Jack with his Thunderbrook feeds - and one day we hope to see Para Driving included in the Para Olympics, with Lindsey representing Britain of course!
